Announcing BOSC’s Director of Development
The Board of Directors of BOSC are pleased to announce that Alyson Duffey has joined our team as our new Director of Development.
Aly brings a tremendously rich background from some of Boulders most successful non-profit organizations to help build and expand upon our mission and our impact with Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks.
Aly earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York and her Master of Arts, Environmental Leadership at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
Aly is a successful nonprofit leader with over 16 years experience. Most recently, she was Development and Marketing Director at Thorne Nature Experience where she played critical roles in fundraising, event development and management as well as marketing and outreach. Aly was also past Executive Director of Thorne Ecological Institute and Evergreen Audubon Nature Center. At Growing Gardens of Boulder County, Aly was the Director of Marketing and Development where she expanded and managed the community cultivation efforts with such programs as capital campaign fundraising, Colorado Gives Day, grantwriting and donor outreach. Aly has also held Director positions with The Wild Foundation and Thorne Natural Science School. She offers her nonprofit services and nature connection programs through her micro-business Conscious Bird.
Please welcome Aly to BOSC!
As we carefully and judiciously move forward out of the pandemic, we at BOSC and Open Space and Mountain Parks are optimistically looking forward to the summer and our renewed efforts as stewards of Boulder’s amazing open space.
